Powder Puff Panthers

The Powder Puff Panthers program exposes girls to flag football and supports the Panthers and NFL's Play 60 initiative, which encourages children to get at least 60 minutes of physical activity daily. At the conclusion of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools' ninth-grade flag football curriculum, the Panthers host a Powder Puff flag football tournament at the team's practice facility at Bank of America Stadium. The winning team receives a traveling trophy and banner to hang at their school. All players who participate in the tournament get a T-shirt, and prizes are awarded for the most creative team jersey.
